Who we are
This website is operated by UniSteps College for Vocational Training (“UniSteps”, “we”). We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy. You can reach us through the contact page or by phone.
Information we collect
When you send an enquiry: your name, phone number, email address (if given), preferred contact method, the course or group you asked about, your message and your consent choices.
Technical information sent with the form: your IP address, browser type, the page you came from and campaign parameters in the link (such as utm_source). We use these to understand which pages and campaigns lead to enquiries and to prevent abuse.
How we use it
To answer your enquiry and advise you about courses and groups; to keep a record of your consent; if you agreed to it, to send occasional news about new courses; and to protect the website against misuse. We do not sell personal information.
Your consent and choices
You are not legally required to give us any information, but we cannot answer an enquiry without a way to contact you. Contact for this enquiry is based on your consent; marketing messages are sent only if you opted in separately, and you can opt out at any time.
Who we share it with
Only with service providers that help us run the website and our enquiry system (such as hosting and database providers), under agreements that limit their use of the information to providing their service, or where the law requires us to.
Where the information is stored
Our website and database are hosted by cloud providers, with data stored in the European Union. Transfers outside Israel are made in accordance with the Privacy Protection (Transfer of Data to Databases Abroad) Regulations.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and any enrolment that follows, and to meet legal obligations; afterwards they are deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
Under the Israeli Privacy Protection Law, 5741-1981, as amended (including Amendment 13, in force since August 2025), you may ask to see the information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete information that is inaccurate, incomplete, unclear or out of date. You may also ask to be removed from any marketing list.
To make a request, contact us through the contact page or by phone. We will answer within the time the law sets. You may also complain to the Privacy Protection Authority.
Cookies
This website uses only cookies that are necessary for it to work, such as remembering your language. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. If that changes, we will ask for your consent first and update this policy.
Security
We use technical and organisational measures appropriate to the information we hold, including encrypted connections and restricted, role-based access for our staff.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
